Description
- HMCRP100N (PE100) is a natural pipe grade resin made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) through suspension polymerization of ethylene monomer. It incorporates 1-Butene as a co-monomer, making it a bi-modal HDPE. This material is specifically designed to manufacture gas and water transportation pipes at higher pressures or with thinner walls than PE80. It features UV stabilization and/or pigments during processing, and additives such as antioxidant/process stabilizer and lubricant (processing aid)/acid scavenger to enhance its properties and performance.
- despite the fact that both CRP100N and PE100 exhibit similar high-density polyethylene characteristics, CRP100N is specifically designed for those applications where cracking during installation processes is an issue. On the other hand, PE100 is more widely used because of its durability and resistance in different piping applications.
