Description

P-2000 is an expandable polystyrene (EPS) resin containing pentane gas as a foam blowing agent. It is known for its outstanding expansion, insulation, moisture proofing, and mechanical load bearing properties. P-2000 can be easily pre-expanded down to 11 g/l after one expansion and down to 8 g/l after a second one.

  • Cost-Efficiency: It can be pre-expanded to low densities, reducing material usage. After proper grinding and cleaning, the wastes of P-2000 EPS products can be re-used by mixing them with virgin materials.
  • Versatility: Suitable for a wide range of applications from insulation to packaging.
  • Efficient Molding: Molding is characterized by fast cycle times. It is possible to mold with a higher content of recycled material without significant reductions in properties due to an excellent reaction to steam.

  • Baniar EPS is available in two packaging types:
  • 25 kg woven polypropylene laminated double-layered Kraft sacks
  • 1000 kg polypropylene bulk jumbo bags

Storage and Cautions:

  • For optimal characteristics, store containers indoors in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area, preferably below 20 °C.
  • Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, heat, flame, rain, snow, or frost.
  • Use opened packages as soon as possible.
  • Store in well-ventilated premises, away from fire and sparks. No smoking or welding in the vicinity.
