HBM 5510 is a high-performance HDPE grade designed for the production of large plastic containers, such as jerrycans, open-top drums (up to 110 liters), and intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) through blow molding. It typically features a density of ~0.955 g/cm³ and a high load melt flow index (HLMFI) of ~10 g/10 min (at 190°C/21.6 kg). These properties ensure excellent parison melt strength (crucial for forming large, stable parts), good flowability, and consistent wall thickness. Its key features include high stiffness for robust structural integrity, excellent ESCR for long-term resistance to cracking under stress and chemical exposure, and good impact resistance, making it ideal for packaging a wide variety of liquids and bulk materials. This HDPE resin is a top choice for durable industrial packaging solutions.

Our HBM 5510 comes with full technical data sheets and is available in natural pellet form, ready for blow molding production lines.

HBM 5510 is supplied in granular (pellet) form. To maintain its optimal quality and performance, proper storage is essential. Polyethylene resins like HBM 5510 should be protected from direct sunlight and excessive heat during storage. The storage environment should be dry, dust-free, and maintain temperatures not exceeding 50 °C. For best results and to prevent quality deterioration, such as color change, the development of an unpleasant smell, or inadequate product performance due to excessive aging, it is advisable to process HBM 5510 resins within 6 months after delivery. Arya Sasol Polymer Company does not provide a warranty for issues arising from poor storage conditions.
