Description

PMA is a mixture of 4,4′-Diaminodiphenyl Methane (MDA), 2,4′-MDA, 2,2′-MDA, and other aromatic amine. PMA product is yellowish-brown at room temperature and soluble in most organic solvents and hydrochloric acid but insoluble in gasoline, hexane, or water.

  • Used as cross-linker in the epoxy resin industry besides being used in MDI producing.
  • It is suitable for encapsulating or casting large parts because the curing time is adjustable.
  • The products synthesized with it have excellent properties of mechanics with high crosslink density.
