Description

F-2000 is an expandable polystyrene (EPS) resin containing pentane gas as a foam blowing agent and non-HBCD brominated hydrocarbon as its flame retardant. This grade exhibits outstanding insulation, moisture proofing, and mechanical load bearing properties.

  • Expandable Properties: Can be easily expanded down to 9 g/l after one expansion and down to 6 g/l after a second one.
  • Flame Retardant: Contains flame retardant gas and non-HBCD brominated hydrocarbon.

  • Rigid insulation boards
  • Panel applications
  • Low density housing and construction blocks
  • Civil engineering applications
  • It is suitable for self-extinguishing applications where the oxygen index is potentially high.

  • Cost Efficiency: It is possible to mold with a higher content of recycled material without significant reductions in properties.
  • Fast Cycle Times: Characterized by fast cycle times.
